each day you wake up with a thousand things to do sometimes you wonder if you’ll ever make it through the world around us moves so fast we can’t keep up good times are comin’ soon enough... there’s always summer (4x) whatever happened to those carefree sunny days we used to think that it would always stay that way the nests are empty now and all the birds have flown but there’s a time for coming home… there’s always summer (4x) wake up to pancakes in the early afternoon we’re in the pool until we start to see the moon adventure leads us on beneath the starry sky we fight the closing of our eyes… there's always summer (8x)

Wond'rin 05:35
I'm wond'rin if it's you I love before I even start to think of givin' up and sure enough all other loves have come and gone so wond'rin's all I got to keep holdin' on will it last? or could it be our love is fadin' fast? let's hope for the best, while it's not too late there'll come a time when there won't be a reason to the rhyme we will or we won't, but for now we'll wait...and debate I'm wond'rin if it's you I love before I even start to think of givin' up and sure enough all other loves have come and gone so wond'rin's all I got to keep holdin' on end of spring, and we just thought we'd have a summer fling but now that you're here, can't say goodbye love has demands, but sometime life's already made it's plans now we hold the strings, and they'll untie...if we don't try pickin' you up, knowing today's the day wondering what I am supposed to say I see in your eyes you know that something's changed but now that you're here i can't seem to walk away I'm wond'rin if it's you I love before I even start to think of givin' up and sure enough all other loves have come and gone so wond'rin's all I got to keep holdin' on holdin' on… (3x)

Hallelujah 03:13
I heard there was a secret chord that david played, and it pleased the lord but you don't really care for music, do ya? it goes like this the fourth, the fifth the minor fall, the major lift the baffled king composing hallelujah hallelujah, hallelujah hallelujah, hallelujah (2x) baby, I've been here before I know this room, I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew ya I've seen your flag on the marble arch love is not a victory march it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah hallelujah, hallelujah hallelujah, hallelujah (2x) I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool ya and even though it all went wrong I'll stand before the lord of song with nothing on my tongue but hallelujah

considering who we are considering what we had remembering everything we shared imagining you and me rewriting our history wondering if we're both prepared it's always open for consideration it's always open for consideration believing in you was nice and I'm willing to do it twice but this time will you follow through? I know that you talk about the benefit of the doubt and now I'm givin' it to you it's always open for consideration it's always open for consideration we can travel to Hawaii hike the mountains of Nepal we can go on a safari baby, we can do it all when we're spending time together seems we're right where we belong they say nothing lasts forever maybe we can prove them wrong it's always open for consideration it's always open for consideration

underneath the midnight sky watching as the embers fly wishing we could just stop time faces that we'll always know laughing in the fire's glow this is summer at its prime who ever said it was wrong to miss the past? who ever made it through alone? the honeymoon is over now left to find your way somehow strange to think you're leavin' home movin' on when summer ends hard to say goodbye to friends you leave the life you've always known off to the city now to do your parents proud leaving the town that you've outgrown wander the world pursuing dreams all on your own remember that you are not alone summer never lasts too long this is where we all belong even if it's ending soon funny how we've come so far this night reminds us who we are rising with the august moon you're not alone (4x) (you're not alone) moving on when summer ends (you're not alone) hard to say goodbye to friends (you're not alone) you leave the life you've always known once in a while you'll find a friendship built to last don't ever let that spirit go good times and a smile to carry with you through the year summer will come before you know underneath the midnight sky watching as the embers fly wishing we could just stop time

about

This album is a love letter to summertime. To youth. To friendship. To recklessness. To freedom. To time. To adventure. To swimming pools. To boundless fun. To late nights, and even later mornings. To hope. To love, whether lasting or not, whether past, present or future. To music. To the sun. And, at last, to moving on, when summer ends.

"Summer" is the first of four seasonal EPs and marks the recording debut of Nick + Noah, a pop duo consisting of Nick Frenay and Noah Kellman. Longtime friends and musical partners, this is their first official collaboration.

Special thanks to: Gary Frenay, Jackie Lewis-Frenay, Dr. Robert Kellman, Jessie Kellman, Samuel Kellman, Elliot Moss, Curtis Kelley, Dan Blanck, Sam Crowe, Chase Potter, Jimmy Navarra, Paige Chaplin, Kaya Blaze Kelley, Steve-O Goldman, Zach Lorenz, Hyoung Gyu-Lee, Mike Komrowski, Joe Colombo, Eric Cohen and WAER, Joe Gilman and The Brubeck Institute, Manlius Pebble Hill School, and anybody anywhere who has ever supported us and our music even in the smallest of ways.
